Also, in 2002, the application began as the Xbox Media Center (XBMC) for Xbox console, and is now in its starting period as KODI, so it may experience some problems. However, as it is open-source there is a large community of developers who are contributing to advancement of this program and are aiming to add a variety of features, overtime, so that you can easily enjoy IPTV on Xbox.
Primarily, you must turn on your device, and make sure it has an internet connection. Next, login to your Xbox Live account, if you are not already logged in. Click on Xbox Live Store, then search for KODI. Lastly, to finalize the download, simply, click on Download.
When your KODI loads for the first time it will appear quite empty, because it does not have any add-ons yet. Therefore, the first approach is to add some add-ons. To begin, navigate to the KODI main menu on the left, click on TV to open the TV section, which allows you to add add-ons and other features, in order to personalize your KODI. Next, click on Enter add-ons browser.
Next, scroll down the list on add-ons and select PVR IPTV Simple Client. You may also use the search in the main menu to locate the PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on.
If you have not already installed the add-on, click Install. However, if you have installed it, select Configure. This will open the settings to allow you to make the necessary adjustments.
First of all, adjust the Location and set it on Remote Path (Internet Address), then select the M3U Play List URL to open the search field. Then, enter the M3U URL in the search field, and lastly select OK.
Finally, back in the IPTV PVR Simple Client section, select Enable and wait for your channels to load, you will also receive a Channels Loaded notification to inform you the process has been completed.
To begin with you must Download and Install the MyIPTV application from the Xbox Live Store or the Microsoft Store available on your Xbox One console, after you have turned on your device, established an Internet connection and logged into your account. Then, once finished start the application. It is worth noting that you can also download the application from the Microsoft store on your computer, then by logging in to your account you can use the app across all your devices.
Next, use your controls to navigate to the Settings. Hence, click on Add new playlist and EPG source in the Settings section, this will open the Local Channel List page.
After that navigate to the Remote Channel List section, click in the Remote Channel List Name field to enter the name of your IPTV Provider. Now that you have entered the name of your IPTV Provider, enter or paste in the M3U URL provided by your IPTV service provider in the Remote Channel List URL. Next, click on the Add Remote List button to load your IPTV channel list; doing so, you will receive a Remote Playlist Added notification.
Furthermore, scroll down and navigate to the Program Guide (EPG) section. Firstly, you must enter the name of your IPTV Provider followed by EPG in the EPG Source Name field.
Secondly, enter or paste in the EPG Source URL then click on Add EPG Source. Next, you will receive an EPG URL added notification. Please note that adding the channels may take time, so this will require your generous patience.
For the next step, click on the return button on the top left corner to go back to the MyIPTV Player homepage, then select Channels from the menu. If you have loaded the channels correctly, then you should be able to see your IPTV channels listed in this section. If not, then, once again, navigate to the Settings, scroll down to Select Channel Playlist and from the drop-down menu select your IPTV Provider, and click Refresh.
As a result the channels must be loaded into your channels tab. Enjoy watching all your favorite channels!
